RTG Casinos

RTG- otherwise known as Real Time Gaming- is another software provider for online casinos. They host big casinos like Rushmore Casino, Sun Palace Casino, and Slots Plus Casino. Established in 1998, RTG isn’t nearly as versatile as Playtech, nor streamlined as Microgaming; they focus on the players’ immediate gaming experience rather than the corporate advertising.

Graphics are truly RTG’s strongest point, though recent months have seen an influx in their focus on secure banking processes, and appealing promotions. Casino table games, poker rooms, progressive slots… the rules will rarely change from one internet casino to the next, but it is RTG’s goal to enhance the game play with sound, light, patterns, bonus rounds, extra games- all the perks that would make the game play fun in your living room, rather than an imitation of a real casino. Their games will have more add-ons than other websites’ and their promotions are always changing, designed to keep players coming back for more. Larger match bonuses do work; and Real Time Gaming supported websites do have some of the more consistent membership ratings available. Recently, RTG has said they hope to put more focus on the banking mechanisms, adding more security elements to their software, and thus making it safer for you. The newer technology has been reported as not only more securely encrypted, but that transaction speed has increased, meaning faster times on deposits and withdrawals for members.

Real Time Gaming is the one software company, that although certainly in the top competitors, may have some dubious elements to it. Not so much the software provider itself, but rather, players should be careful with RTG powered casinos they play in. There are a number of casinos that utilize RTG products that are not as secure as they should be, and some have even gone down, leaving their members utterly stranded, unable to recoup their deposited funds. If RTG games are a preference for you, that’s fine, just make sure that you play on casinos that also host the eCOGRA Seal of Approval, so that you have recourse if something were to go wrong. RTG games, generally speaking, are very player-friendly, and that element alone helps them stay in business. Unfortunately, there’s little other information available as to how they do business, their mission, etc. The RTG website is a closed site, that only allows an email link if you want to get in touch with an administrative assistant for a specific corporate question. Compared to other providers’ availability of information, trying to research Real Time Gaming is rather frustrating.

Still, it cannot be denied that they are one of the top names in the industry. Typically, you’ll see that online casinos with RTG programming are very generous when it comes to bonuses, so that’s good. Read the fine print carefully, however, because withdrawals can be tricky, if not suspicious: many require that you fax in an image of your credit card and your ID before you’re able to withdrawal more than $500. Combine that rule with the chance you may be dealing with an unstable operator- I’m simply repeating, Be Careful. Games on RTG sites include a bunch of Poker versions, Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Slots, and even a couple unique to RTG like War and 3-Card Rummy.
